Biography

Kanwardeep Arora received his medical degree from Dayanand Medical College Hospital in India. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Queens Hospital in New York. After graduation, he took on roles in academic medicine, including serving as the Associate Program Director at Griffin Hospital in Connecticut, where he gained experience in curriculum development and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) development. He was an active coach for the Doctor Dilemma team before returning to Yale Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2021. Currently, he works as a Firm Chief and is actively involved in the inpatient teaching of residents within the program. He holds the position of Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Dr. Arora enjoys teaching house staff to prepare for board exams and encourages them to participate in research projects. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, playing tennis, and photography. He has also served for four years on the National Doctors Dilemma Committee as a contributor and reviewer.
