Biography

Dr. Karen Graham joined Queen's Department of Emergency Medicine in 1996 after working in community Emergency Departments for 8 years. She was appointed as Program Director for the CCFP-EM program in 2005 and continued in that role for 11 years. Additionally, she has served as the Medical Director of the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Program at Kingston General Hospital for 12 years, aiding in the establishment of the program which continues to operate as of 2016. Dr. Graham also held the position of Medical Director for the Urgent Care Centre at Hotel Dieu Hospital and Co-Medical Director for the Kingston Health Science Centre Emergency Department. With a CCFP SEM designation, she works part-time in sports medicine at the Queen's Sport Medicine Clinic, contributing to university varsity athlete programs. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching basketball and playing pickup games. Dr. Graham values family life with her husband and five children.
