Biography

Karen McMenamin is a dedicated and accomplished nursing professional who began her academic journey at a community college, earning an Associate Degree in Nursing. Following her graduation, she furthered her education at Alvernia University, where she completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees. She is currently a member of Beta Sigma and remains committed to the nursing field. Her clinical expertise and areas of specialization include critical care and emergency department nursing, as well as evidence-based practice and quality improvement projects. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctor of Nursing degree through the Pennsylvania State University World Campus. Throughout her career, Karen has taught courses such as Fundamentals of Nursing and Medical/Surgical Nursing, and she has been actively involved in several professional organizations. Her academic honors include graduating Summa Cum Laude from Alvernia University and being recognized by the Who’s Who Among American College Students in 2008.
