Biography

Karen Redrobe is the Elliot Roslyn Jaffe Professor and Undergraduate Chair in the Department of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Redrobe is a former senior editor of the MIT journal Grey Room and has been involved with the editorial board of PMLA. She is committed to expanding access to higher education and fostering inclusive classroom environments. Redrobe has directed various courses such as "Global Film Theory" and "Participatory Community Media 1967-Present," and has chaired multiple doctoral dissertations on topics related to animation and media studies.
