Dr. Karen Wang

Biography

Karen C. Wang, M.D., is an associate professor in clinical gynecology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. Her primary clinical focus includes the surgical management of benign gynecologic conditions such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic pain. Dr. Wang oversees the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Johns Hopkins, where she also serves as the associate fellowship director. Her research interests are centered on quality and safety in surgical outcomes and surgical training. Dr. Wang is dedicated to patient-centered care, believing that innovative surgical procedures can significantly improve the lives of her patients while ensuring shorter recovery times. She is passionate about treating her patients with compassion and thoroughness, and her approach includes detailed communication and addressing all patient concerns.
