Biography

Karim Ahmed is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University. He has an extensive background in nuclear engineering, receiving his Ph.D. from Purdue University in 2015. Prior to this, he completed his M.S. in Materials Science at Florida State University in 2011 and earned his B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt in 2008. Ahmed is also affiliated with the Materials Science and Engineering program, where he applies his expertise to multi-scale modeling of materials.
