Dr. Karin Enander

Biography

Karin Enander is an Associate Professor at Linköping University, specializing in design interaction and analysis of peptides and proteins primarily for bioassay purposes. Her research focuses on the fundamental context of biosensor surface design and immobilization chemistry. Enander has extensive experience teaching at the master’s level, including courses in Proteomics and Fluorescence Spectroscopy. She is also responsible for overseeing academic programs in Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology. Her previous roles include Postdoc positions at Uppsala University and Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, and she has served as an Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at Linköping University. Enander has a strong background in molecular physics, having earned her Docent in 2011 and her PhD in Chemistry from Linköping University in 2003. Additionally, she holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Uppsala University.
