Biography

With a decade of professional experience working with cancer patients, I have held positions as a clinical nurse in oncology and as a consultant in specialized care at the University Health Centre of Montreal. These roles enhanced my understanding of the issues and challenges associated with oncological healthcare and services in Quebec. My postdoctoral training focused on the effectiveness of interventions in oncology, and I have a professional certification in oncology nursing from the Canadian Nurses Association. My research aims to optimize transitions in care and services in oncology, particularly during the end of cancer treatments and the return to professional life after cancer. I am particularly interested in providing optimized care and services for underserved populations, such as young adults, and those experiencing new therapies. My research expertise includes survivorship, interprofessional approaches, qualitative and mixed method research, complex care pathways, and patient-centered care.
