Karine Pader graduated from the National Veterinary School of Toulouse in France in 2006. Following her graduation, she completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center in California from 2006 to 2007. She then pursued a fellowship in large animal ultrasound at UC Davis in California from 2007 to 2008, and completed a residency in large animal surgery at Purdue University from 2008 to 2011. In 2024, she began her freelance practice in equine surgery. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in Equine Surgery and Locomotor Pathology in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the University of Montreal.
