Biography

Karol Berger is the Osgood Hooker Professor of Fine Arts, Emeritus at Stanford University, specializing in music and affiliated with the Department of German Studies and the Europe Center. He earned his Ph.D. from Yale in 1975 and has been a faculty member at Stanford since 1982. His research interests are vast, encompassing various facets of musicological scholarship.
