Karsten Köhler's research focuses on integrating nutrition and physical activity to optimize human health and performance. His outstanding contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019 and the Teaching Excellence Award at the German Sport University Cologne in 2012.
