Biography

Karthik Sankaranarayanan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering at Purdue University. His research focuses on the intersection of biological engineering, data science, and enzymology. He is dedicated to developing computational models that elucidate enzyme reaction chemistry, enabling experimentally testable predictions to overcome manufacturing challenges associated with complex synthetic molecules that are significant to society, such as pharmaceutical agents, agrochemicals, and food flavoring. His work incorporates applied data science methodologies to enhance innovation and efficiency in these fields.
