Biography

Kartik Logishetty is a triple fellowship trained Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in complex primary revision hip replacement, hip resurfacing, hip fractures, and open arthroscopic hip preservation surgery. He is currently pursuing a PhD that investigates the direct anterior approach to hip replacement and serves as a NIHR Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London, continuing his research program in hip surgery. He has completed his training in the North West London training programme and has undergone additional fellowships at prestigious institutions such as University College London Hospitals, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre Oxford, and Royal Berkshire Hospital. Dr. Logishetty has been awarded several fellowships, including those from the British Orthopaedic Association, John Charnley Trust, and the British Hip Society, which have enabled him to enhance his surgical techniques at renowned locations such as HSS New York, Mayo Clinic, Ottawa Hospital, ZOL Belgium, and Schulthess Clinic in Switzerland. He is an active member of the Education Committee of the British Hip Society and chairs the Computers Enabling Technologies Committee for SICOT. Additionally, he has a clinical practice at University College London Hospitals, specializing in various aspects of hip surgery and general orthopaedic trauma.
