Biography

Kassandra Charlotte Wellendorf is an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen, specializing in Visual Culture. She has extensive experience in the fields of film and media studies, with research interests that encompass smart homes and robotic vacuum cleaners as a cultural theoretical approach, as well as artistic research in film and interactive works. Her expertise also includes invisibility strategies in visual culture and the use of ethnomethodology as a filmic method. Wellendorf's background in Visual Culture is backed by her academic qualifications, including a master's degree (cand.mag.) in Visual Culture from the University of Copenhagen, and a bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies. Her research areas involve visual anthropology, ethnographic observation methods, visual analysis methods, digital aesthetics, and the sociological aspects of city culture.
