Biography

Kat Fradera is a Research Associate in Law at the University of Glasgow. Her research explores spatial justice, environmental law, democracy, and public participation in environmental decision-making, emphasizing the importance of lawscapes in contextualizing spatial decisions. Fradera focuses on enhancing process literacy within regulatory decision-making to improve access to justice while maintaining environmental democracy. Her expertise is further enriched by considerable interdisciplinary research experience, and she actively seeks to engage with the research community to tackle pressing challenges. Fradera provides guest lectures and seminars on topics such as Law and Sustainability in the Anthropocene and Law in the Energy Transition.
