Biography

Katarzyna Kowal is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Mathematics at the University of Glasgow. With a strong background in applied mathematics, she has held various positions including Lecturer at the same university, Research Fellow at Trinity College and the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge, and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Northwestern University, USA. She is actively involved in supervising PhD students and has an interest in prospective projects related to mathematical modeling and fluid dynamics, particularly in areas such as ice sheet dynamics and thermocapillary effects in additive manufacturing.
