In 2021, Kate obtained her doctorate in Sociology focusing on gender. Her research focuses on HR inclusion for the female workforce, along with a socio-cultural examination of women and girls in sports and physical education, emphasizing sex-based equalities. Kate supervises MA and PhD students and is open to research proposals around these topics. Her work is aligned with educating management and policy research aimed at influencing national and international policy debates in education.
