Biography

Kate E. Cahill, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Science at Brown University, serving as a Clinician Educator. She completed her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and subsequently trained at Rhode Island Hospital, where she finished her residency in General Internal Medicine and served as chief medical resident. Since joining the faculty in 2010, Dr. Cahill has focused her clinical work on the inpatient medical wards at Rhode Island Hospital, where she dedicates several months each year to patient care. In her role, she supervises internal medicine residents at the Primary Care Continuity Clinic located on Chapman Street. Her academic interests lie in medical education, and she serves as the Clerkship Director for the Core Clerkship in Internal Medicine at the Alpert Medical School. Additionally, she is part of the Core Faculty for Brown's Internal Medicine residencies.
