Biography

Kate Carter is a Senior Lecturer in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the University of Western Australia. She is an experienced podiatrist with expertise in extended scope practice, clinical training in rheumatology, diagnostic ultrasound imaging, and gait analysis. Kate has worked as a clinical specialist podiatrist within multidisciplinary rheumatology teams in both Singapore and Australia. She received her postgraduate teaching certificate in 2011 and was nominated for a teaching excellence award during that time. Kate is part of a collaborative professional network of clinical academics that creates international research opportunities aimed at building research capacity in podiatry and rheumatology.
