Kate Himmelmann is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Gothenburg, specializing in the health and rehabilitation of individuals with Cerebral Palsy (CP). Her research focuses on various aspects of CP, including epidemiology, clinical characteristics, and developmental outcomes in children and adults. She has published numerous articles in prestigious journals like Clinical Medicine and Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology, contributing to our understanding of the neurodevelopmental challenges faced by young individuals with CP. Kate's work also explores interventions, such as the Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for children with spina bifida and CP.
