Biography

Kate Honeyford is an Honorary Research Associate at Imperial College London, working within the Global Digital Health Unit. Her current research focuses on evaluating the impacts of digital sepsis alerts on patient outcomes and staff activities within six NHS hospital trusts in England and Wales. Before her current role, she worked at Dr. Foster Unit on a project led by Professor Bottle, investigating factors affecting emergency readmission rates and one-year mortality in patients with heart failure. Having previously earned a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Sheffield and a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Leicester, Kate's academic career has centered around the use of data to inform health policy and enhance patient care outcomes.
