Biography

Kate Kellogg is a Professor of Management Innovation at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Her research concentrates on helping organizations develop and implement Predictive Generative AI products in everyday work to enhance decision-making, collaboration, and learning. She emphasizes the importance of user acceptance in the effective use of intelligent products, training employees to work with intelligent technologies, and designing technology with employees in mind. Over the past decade, she has collaborated with both for-profit and non-profit organizations to improve collaboration among diverse experts and manage the human aspects of new technology implementation in fast-paced, uncertain contexts. Kate has authored numerous articles in top journals across various fields including management, organization studies, healthcare, and information systems research. Her research has received several awards from organizations such as the Academy of Management and the National Science Foundation. Before joining MIT Sloan, she worked as a management consultant for Bain & Company and Health Advances. She holds a PhD in organization studies from MIT, an MBA from Harvard, and a BA in biology and psychology from Dartmouth.
