Biography

Kate M. O’Dell, PharmD, BCPS, has been a member of the University of the Pacific's pharmacy faculty since 2004. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan in 1999 and completed a fellowship in Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. O'Dell is deeply committed to student-focused teaching and emphasizes mentoring to help students achieve academic success in pharmacy practice. Her teaching philosophy revolves around fostering problem-solving skills, application of knowledge, and discovery among students. Dr. O'Dell’s research interests include clinical outcomes, pharmaceutical care services, and academic outcomes. She has authored and co-authored multiple publications focused on various aspects of pharmacy practice and clinical research.
