Biography

Katharina Bauer is an Associate Professor of Practical Philosophy at Erasmus School of Philosophy, Erasmus University Rotterdam. She supervises PhD candidates in several areas, including moral philosophy and ethics related to human enhancement. In addition to her academic roles, she is an active member of the Young Erasmus Academy and serves as Chair of the Dutch Association of Ethicists. She is known for her contributions to discussions about practical philosophy and its relevance in civic society.
