Biography

Katharina Beyer is a Research Associate in the Translational Oncology Urology Research team at King's College London, having joined in September 2018. Her research focuses on the development of a standardized core outcome set for clinically relevant prostate cancer-related outcomes and the prognostic factors involved in treatment decisions. Katharina is currently pursuing a part-time PhD investigating patient treatment choices in kidney cancer, comparing models of care across clinical units in the UK. She holds a Bachelor of Science in European Public Health from Maastricht University in the Netherlands and a Master's degree, a double degree in Public Policy and Human Development from the United Nations University Institute of Economic and Social Research on Innovation and Technology, also at Maastricht University. Her MSc dissertation was part of a research project for the Wellcome Trust Expert Advisory Group on Data Access.
