Biography

Katherine Bruce-Lockhart is an Associate Professor in the History Department at the University of Waterloo and also serves as Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies. She teaches various courses related to global governance and historical perspectives on incarceration. Her academic interests include Critical Prison Studies, African History, and Social History, showcasing a commitment to understanding the intersections of history, justice, and human rights in society.
