Katherine Cashell is a Professor of Structural Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering at University College London (UCL). She is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers (FIStructE) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE). She also serves as an External Examiner for the MSc in Civil Engineering at the University of Bath and has previously held external examiner roles at the University of Edinburgh and Munster Technological University. Additionally, she is actively involved in the Institution of Structural Engineers, where she has served in various roles, including a term member of the Council and past Chair of the Great Britain region of Engineers Ireland.
