Biography

Katherine Davis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Energy Systems from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011, after completing her M.S. in the same field from the same university in 2009. She earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. Her research interests encompass the operation control of power systems, interactions between computer networks and power networks, and security-oriented cyber-physical analysis techniques. Additionally, she works on data-driven model-based coupled infrastructure analysis simulation and enhancing cyber-physical situational awareness (CyPSA). Davis is dedicated to advancing the understanding and resilience of power systems through innovative research and education in the field.
