Biography

Katherine Kelly received dental orthodontic training at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She has been part of the University of Michigan since 2000, where she serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the School of Dentistry. Dr. Kelly's primary responsibility is working with Orthodontic Pediatric Dental Residents, focusing on the care of patients with craniofacial birth defects. She is also the director of the Craniofacial Special Care Orthodontics fellowship program at the University of Michigan. In addition to her academic role, Dr. Kelly practices privately in Saline. She is married to Dr. Fernando Alberdi, a patent attorney, and they have two sons, Kyle and David.
