Biography

Katherine Lott is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Chicago, specifically involved with the NorthShore Medical Group. She was born and raised in Indianapolis and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Oberlin College. Katherine then earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following this, she completed her family medicine residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka and pursued a geriatric fellowship at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Since joining the NorthShore faculty in 2017, she has been instrumental in developing the geriatric curriculum. Her clinical interests focus on dementia, end-of-life care, healthy aging, and fall prevention. Katherine is passionate about geriatric medicine and enjoys various activities including playing and watching tennis, reading historical fiction, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
