Biography

Katherine Marx joined NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing as the Clinical Simulation Learning Specialist in 2015. She studied nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing and public health at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Katherine is a graduate of the NYS AIDS Institute Nicholas Rango HIV Clinical Scholars Program and is a certified nurse educator as well as a certified Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction teacher. With 20 years of experience as a family nurse practitioner, she focuses on adolescent and young adult health. She holds a Master of Public Health from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and multiple degrees including a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
