Biography

Katherine Thompson specializes in the care of older adults with frailty and multimorbidity. She Co-Directs the University of Chicago’s Successful Aging Frailty Evaluation (SAFE) Clinic, which provides consultative comprehensive geriatric assessment and management services using an interdisciplinary team approach. Additionally, she is the Project Director for the Supporting Healthy Aging Resources Education (SHARE) Network, a Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program project funded by the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA). In this role, she leads geriatrics educational initiatives for healthcare professionals, students, and community members.
