Dr. Kathleen Billings

Biography

Kathleen R Billings is a distinguished Professor of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Her primary clinical interests focus on acute and chronic otitis media, hearing loss, tympanic perforations, cholesteatoma, and the ENT manifestations of craniofacial abnormalities and syndromes, including Turner’s syndrome. She completed her MD at Rush Medical College in 1990, followed by extensive postgraduate training at UCLA Medical Center, where she undertook residencies in surgery and otolaryngology. She also completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital, Boston. Dr. Billings is board certified in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She is actively involved in various professional societies, demonstrating her commitment to advancing pediatric otolaryngology. She serves on the editorial boards of reputable journals and has received multiple honors, including recognition as a Professor at her university.
