Biography

Katy Luchini-Colbry is an accomplished academic and administrator at Michigan State University, currently serving as the Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Services in the College of Engineering. She has completed degrees in political theory and computer science, and has earned her Ph.D. and M.S.E. in computer science engineering from the University of Michigan. Dr. Luchini-Colbry is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and has published numerous peer-reviewed works focusing on engineering education and graduate student success. She is also the Co-Director of the NSF-funded CyberAmbassadors Program and the Director of the Engineering Futures Program under the auspices of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society. Through these initiatives, she has worked to provide interactive seminars that enhance the communication, teamwork, and leadership skills of thousands of students and professionals in the STEM fields each year.
