Biography

Kathleen Kellett is an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a PhD with a specialization in Quebec literature from the University of Toronto. Kellett has been a member of the Yeates School of Graduate Studies at TMU since 2001 and contributes to the M.A. Immigration Settlement Studies program. Her current research focuses on Franco-Canadian minority literatures and cultures, particularly Franco-Ontarian literature and the voices of immigrants in Canadian literature. Her research interests extend to feminist critical theory, narratology, and literary detective fiction. Kellett has published essays on various authors including Anne Hébert, Louise Maheux-Forcier, Daniel Poliquin, Pan Bouyoucas, and Stanley Péan, among others, in collective works and journals such as Studies in Canadian Literature, Voix plurielles, Tangence, Québec Studies, and @nalyses.
