Her research focuses on defining cellular signaling and epigenetic mechanisms that regulate vascular smooth muscle cell function, particularly in the context of intimal hyperplasia, atherosclerosis, and transplant vasculopathy. She aims to understand the phenotypic alterations of smooth muscle cells to gain insights for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
