Kathleen R. McKeown is the Henry Gertrude Rothschild Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University and the founding director of Columbia's Data Science Institute. She served as the director from July 2012 to June 2017 and was the chair of the Computer Science Department from 1998 to 2003.
