Kathleen Sellars teaches sculpture and time-based media in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. She coordinates collaborative courses with the creative arts departments within the Faculty of Arts and Science and also with Smith Engineering. Her recent work integrates computer-controlled robotics with sculpture and animated graphics to explore current issues in medical research. Kathleen has exhibited her work internationally, both in solo and group exhibitions, including 'New Robotics Research' at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre in 2008 and 'It's Wonderful Life' at Owen's Art Gallery in Sackville, New Brunswick in 2007. She has taught various courses related to fine arts including Intermediate Fine Art (Time-based Media), Intermediate Fine Art II (Sculpture), and Introductory Fine Art II (Sculpture) as well as Contemporary Cultural Performance Practice.
