Biography

Kathryn Preuss is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Guelph. She completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours and Great Distinction at the University of Lethbridge in 1995, followed by a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Waterloo in 2000. Her postdoctoral studies were at the University of Colorado and North Carolina State University, focusing on Physical Organic Chemistry and Magneto-Chemistry, respectively. Her work has been published extensively in leading journals and includes many collaborative efforts, highlighting her contributions to understanding molecular properties and behaviors. She has also served as an editor for Crystal Growth & Design and is actively involved in mentoring graduate students and collaborative research projects.
