Biography

Kathy Huang is a Clinical Associate Professor and Surgical Co-Director of Perioperative Services at NYU Langone Health, specializing in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. With a robust background in Obstetrics and Gynecology, she has performed over 3,000 robotic-assisted procedures, making her one of the highest-volume gynecologic robotic surgeons in the country. Dr. Huang serves as the director of NYU Langone’s Endometriosis Center, where she collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide holistic treatment for women with endometriosis. Her research focuses on early diagnosis and innovative treatment options for endometriosis, as well as optimizing fertility-preserving surgery. Dr. Huang is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and has held various leadership roles, including serving on the board of directors for the Chinese American Medical Society. She lectures nationally and internationally on robotic surgery and fertility-preserving surgical options. Dr. Huang’s dedication to enhancing women’s health is evident in her commitment to education, having developed an endometriosis course for medical professionals.
