Biography

Kathy Pouteau is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Queen's University. She holds an MD from the University of Calgary and is certified in Family Medicine, having completed the CCFP in 2005. Additionally, she has a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene with honors from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, obtained in 2008. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her professional roles include being the Behavioural Medicine Director and a Staff Physician, overseeing clinical coverage and patient care. She also supervises teaching for Family Medicine residents and is involved with various hospitalist and residency programs in the Kingston area, as well as locum positions in Peterborough and Kawartha.
