Biography

Kathy Vu is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the same institution, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, following her completion of a hospital residency. Her clinical expertise lies in oncology and her approach focuses on delivering safe, high-quality care to cancer patients. Kathy has held leadership roles throughout her career as a Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner at St. Michael’s Hospital and as a provincial Clinical Lead for Safety Initiatives at Cancer Care Ontario. She currently teaches oncology courses including PHM301 and PHM653 at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and is the Director of the PharmD Pharmacists Program. Kathy is also involved in continuous professional development for pharmacists and health professionals. Her research interests include pharmacy practice, quality improvement, and oncology, demonstrating her commitment to enhancing the field of pharmacy education and practice through her work.
