Kati Röttger is a professor and the chair of the Institute of Theatre Studies at the University of Amsterdam since March 2007. She completed her doctoral studies at Freie Universität Berlin in 1992, focusing on Collective Creation in New Colombian Theatre, and has spent several years conducting fieldwork in Colombia. Röttger is a co-founder of the Master of Arts in International Performance Research and has established various projects focusing on globalization and artistic practices in contemporary cultural spaces.
