Biography

Katie Brooks Biello is a Provost's Professor and Chair of Epidemiology at Brown University, leading the Center for Epidemiologic Research. Her research primarily focuses on understanding the underlying multilevel risk factors and social inequities related to HIV and substance use. She develops and implements social behavioral interventions aimed at reducing risks among racial and sexual minorities, particularly adolescents in resource-limited settings.
