Biography

Katie Robb is a Professor of Behavioural Science in the School of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow. She leads the Cancer Behaviour Research Group, focusing on improving cancer outcomes through the application of behavioural science and multi-disciplinary collaboration. Her research interests include improving access to cancer screening, reducing inequalities in cancer screening, developing engaging cancer communications, and optimising recovery from cancer surgery. Robb has a PhD in Health Psychology from University College London and has held various academic positions including Reader and Senior Lecturer. She has extensively worked on projects to increase cancer screening uptake among marginalized communities, including individuals with intellectual disabilities and Muslim women in Scotland. Additionally, she has published numerous articles and has received several awards for her contributions to cancer research and public health. Robb actively supervises PhD students and contributes to teaching various MSc programs related to mental health and cancer research.
