Dr. Katrin Flikschuh

Biography

Katrin Flikschuh is a Professor of Political Theory at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she has been a part of the Government Department since 2003. She previously held positions focusing on philosophy at the University of Essex and the University of Bristol, and political theory at the University of Manchester. Her research primarily examines the connections between African and Western social and political thought, with a particular focus on Immanuel Kant and contemporary political philosophy. As a Principal Investigator for the Leverhulme Trust International Networks Project, she explores modern African philosophy and its implications within the broader context of political thought.
