Biography

Katrina Dunn has an extensive background as a professional stage director, producer, and dramaturg in Canadian theatre. She served as the Artistic Director of Vancouver’s Touchstone Theatre for nineteen years and co-founded the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival. Her scholarly work includes exploring theatrical space, ecocritical theatre, and Canadian theatre history. Dunn's dissertation, entitled “Empty House: Real Estate Theatricality in Vancouver’s Downtown,” is currently being developed into a monograph. She has contributed chapters and articles published in national and international journals, focusing on the spatial representations of theatre and its intersection with ecological issues.
