Biography

Katrina Robinson teaches Lawyering and Judicial Opinion Writing at Cornell Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Manish Shah in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Honorable Joel Flaum in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before joining the Cornell Law faculty, she taught legal research and writing at the University of Oregon School of Law and practiced law at two international law firms located in San Francisco and Chicago. Professor Robinson is an active member of the national community of legal writing scholars and co-chairs the Publications Committee of the Association of Legal Writing Directors as well as the Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Legal Writing Institute. Her recent publications appear in Legal Communication & Rhetoric, Perspectives: Teaching Legal Research Writing, and Draft.
