Kaye Bemis, NP, is an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and the Chief Advanced Care Provider Clinical Research Manager in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Boston Medical Center. Additionally, she worked on the QI Hub to implement the “Meds Beds” initiative, which aims to improve patient compliance with medication regimens before discharge from elective surgery. In recognition of her efforts, she received the Advanced Practice Provider Clinical Excellence Award from BUMG in 2021. Kaye is also involved in teaching and evaluating Orthopaedic Surgery Residents and mentoring Advanced Practice Nurses. Publications attributed to her show a diverse engagement in clinical research across various platforms.
