Biography

Ke Yuan is a Lecturer in Computing Science at the University of Glasgow, where he focuses on therapeutic science research. He earned his PhD from the University of Southampton in 2013, under the supervision of Mahesan Niranjan. Following his doctoral studies, he served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute at the University of Cambridge until April 2016. Since May 2016, he has been a part of the School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow. His research interests include the development of novel digital histomorphological biomarkers for predicting immunotherapy responses in patients with non-small cell lung cancer, and creating AI-based classifiers for determining responses to rectal cancer treatments. His work aims to integrate advanced computational techniques within the field of therapeutic sciences to enhance patient outcomes.
